Her birthday is on 29 March 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico. Her birth title is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her parents are Mexican as well as American. Ever since she was young, she's been very interested in participating in sport. Gerina started playing golf at the age of 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. While she was in high school, she won her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. She was a volleyball player and was also a participant in state tournaments. She went to in the University of Texas in 2003. Her senior year was a success. she won each tournament in which she took part in. In her undergraduate year, she received Conference USA's individual player of year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of Year.
